Basketweaving.com began as Basketry Studio A in West Barnstable, MA in 1981. First, there were basket weaving classes in an antique barn, then basket weaving classes at Basketry Studio A which was located in a 17th-century building on historic Route 6A.
Founded by basketweaving teacher and designer Linda Hebert, the business name later became V I Reed & Cane Inc. and her husband joined the business. Today this family business that’s all about basketweaving includes her sons- each contributing their special skills to “Helping Weavers Weave Since 1981”.
